Air & Ground Transportation
The GlomCon Event Air Team will arrange your round-trip air transportation to Maui, Hawaii. You will receive a proposed itinerary via e-mail within 3-5 business days after you have submitted your registration.
You can approve the itinerary by responding to the email you receive. Make sure to approve it as soon as possible. Your approval is required within 24 hours.
The team will make every attempt to secure airline reservations as close to your preferred request as possible, based on flight availability at the time your registration is received and when your itinerary is approved. E-tickets (electronic tickets) will be issued whenever possible.
Airfare increases incurred due to travel outside of group dates, specific airline requests or changes you make will be your responsibility. Your credit card will not be charged until we have an approved itinerary from you. Flight itineraries and fares cannot be guaranteed until tickets are issued. Tickets cannot be issued until your approval has been received.
In compliance with airline rules, once a ticket is issued, it is nonrefundable, and no name changes are allowed. If a name change is necessary, a new ticket must be purchased at the expense of the individual traveler. Any changes/cancellations made to the outbound flight must be made prior to the original departure date for the ticket to be valid (e.g., if you miss your flight and do not contact the airline, your ticket will not have any value for future use).
Additional airline fees may apply for changes confirmed after your ticket has been issued.
Please note: Your proposed itinerary may be delayed if you request an extension of your stay outside of the program dates (August 5 – August 9) while we confirm availability.

Seating Preferences
Seats will be assigned whenever possible. Bulkhead or exit row seating may be restricted for assignment at the airport on the day of departure.
Airline Upgrades
For any premium seat upgrades or frequent flyer upgrades, you will be able to work directly with the airline after your airline ticket has been issued. If you plan to upgrade, it is recommended to check with the airline for upgrade availability in advance of the ticket issuance.
Airline Apps
Once your flight itinerary is booked, download the respective airline app and enter your confirmation number for easy access to your boarding pass, preflight check in and changes to your flight (i.e.: delays, gate changes).
Ground Transportation
Roundtrip transportation between the Maui Kahului (OGG) airport and the Grand Wailea will be your responsibility.
Rideshare and Taxi: The approximate cost of a rideshare and/or taxi from the Maui Kahului (OGG) airport and the Grand Wailea is $60 – $75, and rates are dependent on the service. After getting off your flight, follow signs to “Ground Transportation.” Rideshare and taxi pickup at Kahului Airport are located just outside baggage claim to your right by the Commuter Terminal.
Maui Kahului (OGG) airport is located about 17 miles from the Grand Wailea. Approximate transfer time between the airport and the hotel is 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
